These 2 came to us from East Bay SPCA in November 2025, after being found abandoned in a crate at a park in Livermore. They had bands on their legs, indicating they may have been owned by a quail breeder who may not have wanted them anymore. We suspect there were others in the covey released with them, but didn't make it. These 2 stayed in the crate in the park, and were rescued by Animal Control.
