Our trio of Cortunix quail (Russet, Melody and Yukon) came to us from Wildlife Care Association of Sacramento. WCA Sacramento isn't able to keep or release domestic animals, so they rehomed them with us, where we needed a covey for LC. They arrived in January 2024.

Ube was found by a rescuer, wandering in Richmond, CA. She came to us in September 2025 with a leg injury, and stayed in our on-site veterinary hospital receiving care until her wound was healed. Her favorite things are dust bathing and sitting on eggs.
